NGC 4088 is nr. 18 in the Arp catalogue of Peculiar Galaxies. It belongs to the category of spiralgalaxies with detached segments
This observation of NGC 4088 shows the most prominent detached part of this galaxy as a faint elongation of the central area to the NE-side.
